The AF supports detection of human eyes, faces and heads, improvements from the EOS R. On top of that, it can detect the eyes, face and whole body of animals (dogs/cats/birds) to improve the capture rate of subjects.

If you need to SEE IN THE DARK
ISO is enhanced with maximum ISO 51200 and could be extended to ISO 102400 when shooting still images. The low brightness focusing limit of EV-6 is achieved. Achieves highly accurate focusing even in a dark environment where it is difficult for the naked eye to see the subject.

The EOS R5 is built with dual slots for CFexpress card (Type B) and SD memory card (UHS-II compatible), for a superfast file transfer if the CFexpress card is used. It supports Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection to mobile devices such as smartphones. For the first time in the EOS series, it is compatible with the 5 GHz band wireless LAN standard as Wi-Fi built-in camera, enabling high-speed and stable communication.
