Sony has officially launched its latest G Master lens: the FE 50-150mm F2 GM, the world’s first telephoto zoom lens to offer a maximum focal length of 150mm paired with a wide, constant F2 aperture. Tailored for professional photographers and videographers, this lens promises remarkable performance for weddings, portraits, indoor sports, and cinematic productions.

Delivering prime-lens resolution across its versatile focal range, the FE 50-150mm F2 GM incorporates two XA elements, two Super ED glasses, and three ED elements. This sophisticated internal design ensures stunning image sharpness, minimal aberration, and rich contrast throughout the zoom spectrum. A floating focus system provides a close focusing distance of just 0.4 meters, with 0.20x maximum magnification—ideal for tight portraits and detail shots.
